Formación

• A relevant qualification in property studies, land surveying, or a related field.
• Professional registration as a Valuer with the South African Council for the Property Valuers Profession (SACPVP) or equivalent.
• A minimum of 3 years of practical experience in property valuation, preferably within the Welkom area.
• Comprehensive knowledge of valuation principles, techniques, and relevant legislation.
• Proficiency in using valuation software and databases.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent report writing and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the Welkom district and surrounding areas.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Performing on-site inspections and detailed assessments of properties in and around Welkom.
• Gathering and analyzing market data, including comparables, rents, and indicators.
• Applying valuation methodologies (income, sales comparison, cost) to determine property values.
• Preparing high-quality, detailed valuation reports adhering to professional standards and client requirements.
• Providing expert opinion and advice on property values to clients, including financial institutions, legal firms, and private individuals.
• Maintaining accurate records of valuation activities and property data.
• Staying current with industry best practices, legislation, and trends affecting the real estate market in the Free State.
• Attending client meetings and potentially providing evidence in legal proceedings if required.
• Ensuring compliance with ethical codes and professional conduct standards.
• Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders as needed for valuation purposes.
