Job summary

The Yarco Companies, a full-service, multi-family real estate firm focused on affordable housing, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for on-site work. You will assist the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager with repairs, preventive maintenance, and preparing units for market rental across properties in Missouri.

Responsibilities include upkeep of common areas, appliance maintenance, and on-call emergency support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year maintenance experience in residential property.
• Pool certification preferred; HVAC certification, boiler certification if appropriate.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks and lift up to 110 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Property Appearance/Upkeep: Keep the property neat and well-maintained with daily inspections.
• Appliance Maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair minor HVAC, electrical, and plumbing issues.
• Make Ready: Prepare units to market-ready condition; painting may be required.
• Laundry room: Maintain laundry facilities per company guidelines.
• Pool Maintenance (if applicable): Daily chemical checks and cleaning to meet codes.
• Customer Service: Support resident satisfaction and be available for on-call emergencies.
