Job summary

The Yarco Companies in Ohio are seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager in keeping apartment homes, common areas, and grounds in excellent condition. This safety-sensitive role performs repairs, preventive maintenance, and on-call response to preserve property value and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of residential property maintenance experience.
• Pool certification preferred; HVAC or boiler certification if appropriate.
• Must be able to lift up to 110 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and preventive repairs across the property.
• Repair minor electrical and plumbing issues.
• Bring units to market-ready condition, some painting.
• Maintain laundry facilities and public spaces.
• Assist with groundskeeping and pool maintenance if applicable.
• Provide resident service and respond to on-call emergencies per supervisor.
