Job summary

Greystar is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician for Bowery West in Charlotte, NC. You will perform technical and mechanical work to keep buildings, grounds and amenities clean, safe, and functional, and support make-ready and preventive maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, inspections, vendor coordination, and inventory control while adhering to safety standards and company policies. A flexible on-call schedule is required.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver's license to operate on-site golf cart (if applicable).
• All required state and local certifications for service technicians.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per safety and code requirements.
• Completes make‑ready process for vacant units, including pre-move-in inspections, punch lists, scheduling vendors, and inspecting completed work.
• Follows procedures to access materials and track inventory, return unused items, and notify supervisor about reorders.
• Documents work orders promptly and accurately to ensure proper tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, painting curbs/signage, and supporting cost-control measures by using materials efficiently.
