Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician for Bowery West in Charlotte, NC to maintain buildings, grounds, and amenities per company standards. Role involves completing work orders, make-ready tasks, inventory control, and safety compliance across a property with 213 units in a lease-up stage.

The position requires EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1/II or Universal), a valid driver’s license, and ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license required to operate a golf cart on property.
• State and local licenses/certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests and perform; diagnose and repair defects per safety codes.
• Complete make-ready tasks for vacant units and prep for new move-ins.
• Track inventory, obtain supplies, and coordinate with maintenance supervisor on re-orders.
• Document service requests promptly and accurately.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; assist with cleaning and minor painting.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
