Job summary

Greystar, a leading global real estate platform, seeks a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of our properties. You will ensure cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality of buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas in line with company standards.

You will diagnose issues from resident requests, perform repairs, manage the make-ready process for vacant units, track supplies, and support cost-control by using parts efficiently.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests for service and performs preventative maintenance.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including pre-move-out inspection and scheduling vendors.
• Follows procedures to access materials and track inventory, returning unused items and notifying when re-ordering is needed.
• Completes documentation and paperwork to document and track service requests.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, painting curbs and signage, and keeping areas tidy.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible and using tools correctly.
