Job summary

Wraparound Services Of The Hudson Valley in New Paltz, NY is seeking a Residential Manager to oversee daily residence operations, supervise Direct Support Professionals, and ensure staffing meets program requirements. You will coordinate medical/dental, behavioral and therapy services, manage budgets and petty cash, and maintain compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelors preferred.
• Previous experience working with people with disabilities, minimum of one year supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication and follow-up skills; able to handle multiple priorities with limited supervision.
• Valid NYS Driver's License.
• Ability to work weekend and evening hours as directed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operation of the residence.
• Ensure staffing schedule is completed per program requirements.
• Provide coverage for shifts to meet staffing needs.
• Maintain on-call availability for emergencies and guidance.
• Assist with transportation for staff, day program and medical appointments.
• Monitor and supervise consumer goals, services and staff actions.
• Coordinate medical/dental, nutritional, psychological/behavioral and therapy services.
• Ensure staff understand medical/clinical recommendations and care roles.
• Directly supervise and evaluate Direct Support Professionals and Support Staff.
• Provide hands-on training in service delivery.
