Job summary

NHR is seeking a dedicated staff member to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in a community residence setting in Poughkeepsie, NY. You will work closely with care teams to implement plans and ensure safe, meaningful daily activities.

The role requires physically assisting and supervising, with a scheduled shift pattern as listed, and offers benefits such as PTO, tuition reimbursement, and health coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Prior experience with people with disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with developmental disabilities to live in a group setting.
• Work with Residence Coordinator and Service Coordinators to implement ISPs.
• Oversee day-to-day IRA/ICF operations in the Residence Coordinator's absence.
• Transport individuals to medical appointments and community activities.
