Job summary

NorthEast Residential Services is seeking a Program Manager to lead a residential team serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Maine. You’ll oversee daily living, supervise Direct Support Professionals, and ensure quality documentation and audits.

A valid Maine driver’s license, 2+ years in IDD, and ability to lift 50 lbs are required. You will coordinate care plans, maintain medications logs, and communicate with Case Managers, Guardians, and Supervisors while

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDD)
• Experience leading a residential team
• Ability to lift/push/pull 50 lbs
• Must have valid Maine driver’s license with clean driving record
• Proficient reading/writing and communication in English

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily living of individuals supported, including personal care, community involvement, and care needs management
• Lead Direct Support Professionals, coordinate schedules, training, communication, and staff performance
• Ensure daily documentation is completed with quality
• Maintain program books and complete monthly audits
• Communicate regularly with Case Managers, Guardians, staff and Supervisors
• Ensure medications are maintained and logged properly
• Familiarize with individual goals, care plans, and behavior plans and ensure compliance
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of homes and report issues
• Manage scheduling, handle callouts, ensure payroll timesheet accuracy
• Provide on-call coverage including nights and weekends
