Job summary

NorthEast Residential Services (NRS) seeks a Program Manager to lead our Residential Team in Maine, overseeing homes and Direct Support Professionals to ensure safe, supportive environments for individuals with IDD. The ideal candidate has 2+ years’ experience supporting adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities, strong leadership and documentation skills, and a valid Maine driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Experience working with adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in IDD settings.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily living activities, personal care, and community involvement.
• Lead Direct Support Professionals: schedules, training, communication, staff performance.
• Ensure daily documentation is completed with quality.
• Maintain program books and conduct monthly audits.
• Communicate regularly with Case Managers, Guardians, Staff and Supervisors.
• Ensure medications are maintained and logged properly.
• Know and follow individual goals, care plans and behavior plans.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of homes and report issues.
• Manage scheduling, callouts, and payroll timesheets.
• Be available for on-call nights and weekends.
• Hold a valid Maine driver's license and clean driving record.
• Read/write and communicate proficiently in English.
• Ability to lift/push/pull 50lbs.
