Job summary

NorthEast Residential Services (NRS) in Lewiston, ME seeks a Program Manager to lead our residential team and ensure a safe, supportive living environment for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will oversee daily living activities, manage Direct Support Professionals, coordinate schedules, and maintain program documentation.

You will also liaise with Case Managers and Guardians, monitor care plans, and ensure medications are logged properly.

Qualifications

• Valid Maine driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to read, write and communicate proficiently in English.
• Ability to lift/push/pull 50lbs.
• 2+ years’ experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily living of individuals supported, including personal care, community involvement, and care needs.
• Manage a team of Direct Support Professionals, coordinate schedules, training, and communication.
• Ensure daily documentation is completed with quality; maintain program books and audits.
• Provide regular communications with Case Managers, Guardians, Staff, and Supervisors.
• Ensure medications are maintained and logged properly; follow care plans and behavior plans.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of homes; manage scheduling and payroll timesheets.
