Job summary

SCO Family of Services in New York is seeking a Residence Program Manager to supervise staff, manage budgets, and ensure high-quality support for individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting.

The role includes ensuring program plan compliance, coordinating with medical teams, and maintaining regulatory documentation. On-call duties are required to support 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate or bachelor's degree in human services preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, preferably in a residential or treatment setting.
• A minimum of 3 years of administrative/managerial experience with individuals with behavioral health challenges.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all individuals receive services outlined within their program plans and oversee spending per budget and Report of Operations.
• Provide supervision and support of Assistant Managers and Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
• Attend meetings with schools/day programs and coordinate with medical staff for timely appointments and medication orders.
• Write and present performance evaluations within 3 months of hire and annually thereafter.
• Maintain compliance with OPWDD and agency standards and ensure documentation for billing and regulatory reporting.
• On call 24/7 to respond to residence needs and staff concerns.
