Job summary

ADAPT Community Network in Manhattan is seeking a Residence Manager to oversee the daily operations of a residential program for adults with developmental disabilities. This full-time role runs Sunday through Thursday, supervising staff, coordinating services, and ensuring safety and compliance with OPWDD.

You will manage staff schedules, participate in audits, and foster independence and community inclusion for the people we support, while maintaining high care standards and collaborative

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years of supervisory or managerial experience in a residential or related setting.
• Valid New York State Driver’s License in good standing.
• AMAP certification or eligibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to coordinate treatment and service plans.
• Ensures health, safety, and dignity of the people we support at all times.
• Oversees medical care needs and coordinates with clinical staff.
• Manages staff hiring, orientation, training, scheduling, and supervision.
• Maintains documentation, audits, and quality assurance reviews.
• Coordinates transport and ensures equipment maintenance.
