Job summary

The Center for Family Support in New York seeks a Residence Manager to oversee daily operation of the assigned residence, supervise Direct Support Professionals, and ensure individuals receive quality supports.

You will manage budgets and day-to-day operations, implement OPWDD-compliant policies, train staff, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to maintain regulatory standards and high quality care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Health and Human Services or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in developmental disabilities with 1+ years in supervision.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, implement and evaluate individual program plans and maintain records per OPWDD/state/federal regulations.
• Hire, train and supervise Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
• Oversee orientation and evaluation of residential staff and ensure confidential records.
• Implement all facility and agency policies per OPWDD guidelines.
• Attend and participate in team meetings and interdisciplinary reviews.
• Ensure timely submission of payroll, Res Hab, incident reports, etc.
