Job summary

Communitas, Inc. is seeking a Residential Program Coordinator to oversee three group homes in the Wakefield, MA area. This salaried role requires 40 hours weekly, with flexible scheduling to meet agency needs and 24/7 on-call coverage for emergencies.

The role includes sourcing and supervising staff, conducting performance reviews, and ensuring high-quality, person-centered services. A Bachelor’s in education or related field is preferred, with at least 3 years of relevant experience, including

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in education, Human Services or related field highly preferred; with 3 years’ experience working with adults with developmental disabilities of which two years include supervisory experience.
High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

Oversee program operations of three group homes within the cluster.
Source, screen, interview and hire candidates.
Supervise assigned employees including performance evaluations and payroll timesheets.
Conduct cluster meetings with Directors & Assistant Directors; perform regular audits of program systems.
Train new Program Directors in day-to-day home operations; assist with Survey & Certification.
Provide staff with problem solving and advocacy on all program-related issues.
