Communitas, Inc. seeks an Assistant Program Coordinator to oversee two group homes within their cluster in Wakefield, MA. This salaried, 40-hour-per-week role requires on-call availability to support 24/7 emergencies.

The position offers competitive pay starting at $62,400 per year, 4 weeks vacation, 12 holidays, low-cost benefits, tuition reimbursement after 90 days, and opportunities for advancement in a compassionate, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, Human Services or related field highly preferred; with 3 years' experience working with adults with developmental disabilities of which two years include supervisory experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• A passion and dedication to supporting our people is a must.
• Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
• Must pass company background and reference checks.

Responsabilités

• Sourcing, screening, interviewing and selecting candidates for hiring.
• Supervision of assigned employees including regular supervision and performance evaluations as well as reviewing and approving timesheets for payroll.
• Oversee all program operations of residential homes. Conduct cluster meeting with Directors & Assistant Directors. Responsible for conducting regular audits of program systems.
• Trains new Program Directors in the day-to-day operation of the home, including administrative duties.
• In conjunction with Director of Residential Services, prepares and participates in Survey & Certification.
• Provides staff with necessary problem solving and advocacy on all program-related issues.
