Job summary

InVision Human Services is seeking a front-line supervisor for Direct Support Professionals in our residential programs in the Pittsburgh area. You will ensure homes and staff comply with 6400/6100 regulations and oversee the implementation of plans of support aligned with the organization’s philosophy.

You will act as a program specialist, document routine updates, and communicate with families and external stakeholders while fostering a respectful, person-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social services, business, or related field; 2 years relevant experience.
• Associate degree or 60 credit hours with 4 years relevant experience.
• Experience working with people with intellectual or developmental disabilities or autism.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Direct Support Professionals (DSP) in residential sites to ensure quality support.
• Ensure compliance with 6400/6100 licensing regulations and official plans of support.
• Maintain documentation like service notes, MARs, and SIS-related records.
• Coordinate monthly house meetings and provide regular updates to families and stakeholders.
• Provide on-call support and crisis management as needed.
• Oversee staff training, performance evaluations, and staff development.
