Job summary

Penn-Mar is seeking a Residential Supervisor to oversee Direct Support Professionals serving people with IDD in homes, the community, and remote supports. You will schedule staff, ensure documentation, medical oversight, and on-call duties across a specific location.

Key duties include staff hiring/training, performance reviews, ensuring certifications, incident reporting, and maintaining compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of direct support experience with IDD.
• Minimum 2 years supervising a team of more than 2 people.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license with at least 2 years driving experience and clean record.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Program Manager to hire, train, onboard, provide oversight and feedback to DSPs.
• Complete 90 day and annual performance reviews for DSPs and foster accountability.
• Ensure DSPs maintain required certifications and trainings.
• Follow state incident reporting requirements with detailed documentation.
• Lead weekly 1:1 meetings and uphold Penn-Mar Leadership Philosophy.
• Maintain policies adherence and professional relationships with families.
• Ensure shifts are covered by qualified staff and monitor timesheets/PTO.
• Manage program budget and documentation; coordinate meetings and licensing reviews.
• Provide direct supervision and support across all environments per PCP/ISP.
