Job summary

Emmaus Pittsburgh seeks a Residential Services Supervisor to lead DSP teams across general, residential and administrative duties within our IDD programs. You will oversee ISP implementation, document controls, scheduling, and coordination with the Facilities Manager to maintain a safe, compliant home environment.

You will mentor staff, conduct regular meetings, manage medical appointments and medication coordination, and ensure accurate service notes, quarterly and annual plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in the social/human service field.
• One year of related experience OR two years full-time experience as an Emmaus DSP (and/or Senior DSP).
• Driver’s License / Act 34 clearance / FBI clearance / Physical and Mantoux before date of hire; Good working knowledge of 6400 regulations, Chapter 6100 requirements; strong writing skills; ability to lead a team of DSPs by example.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all program and licensing related activities.
• Oversee ISP implementation and monitor daily, compliant service notes.
• Provide orientation, training, scheduling, mentoring, and supervision for DSPs and Sr. DSPs; model best practices.
• Manage residents’ medical appointments and medication requirements; coordinate with management on medical needs.
• Organize program and medical information; ensure forms are signed and filed timely.
• Lead regular team meetings to address household, resident and staff issues.
• Coordinate resident activities including family visits and outings.
• Serve as point of contact for residents’ family members and vocational staff.
• Ensure home upkeep, safety and compliance; report repairs to Facilities Manager.
