Job summary

Penn-Mar Human Services is seeking a Residential Supervisor to directly supervise DSPs across multiple settings, ensuring health, safety, and person-centered supports. The role includes scheduling, documentation, training oversight, budgeting involvement, and regular 1:1 meetings with direct reports to foster accountability.

The candidate will support individuals with IDD in home, community, and remote settings, coordinating activities, transportation, and personal care as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years direct support experience with IDD population.
• 2+ years supervising a team of 3+ staff.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with at least 2 years driving experience and clean record.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) at a specified location.
• Schedule team members and manage timekeeping.
• Complete required documentation and maintain health and safety standards.
• Oversee licensing and mandatory trainings; conduct 90-day and annual reviews.
• Partner with Program Manager; lead department meetings and ensure policy adherence.
• Engage people in personal goals; support community engagement and activities.
• Provide or coordinate personal care, transportation, and medication oversight.
