Job summary

PathWays is hiring a Program Specialist for our Residential Group Homes to support adults with disabilities. You will develop ISPs, coordinate daily routines, monitor progress, and participate in multi‑disciplinary meetings to ensure high‑quality, person‑centered care.

The role requires collaboration with care teams and adherence to ODP/OLTL/DPW regulations, with a focus on dignity, choice, and community inclusion.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or 60 credit hours with 4 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Master’s degree with 1 year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee Individual Support Plans (ISPs) for residents.
• Collaborate with team to create meaningful daily routines.
• Monitor progress and prepare reports as required by regulations.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Ensure compliance with state and DPW regulations (ODP/OLTL).
• Provide hands‑on support to maintain continuity of care.

Education

What You’ll Do As a Residential Program Specialist

• Ensure compliance with ODP, OLTL, and DPW regulations
• Step in with hands‑on support when needed to maintain continuity of care

Requirements

• Option 1: Associate’s degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university and 4 years of experience working directly with individuals with disabilities
• Option 2: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and 2 years of experience working directly with individuals with disabilities
• Option 3: Master’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university and 1 year of experience working directly with individuals with disabilities

Additional Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid driver’s license and personal insurance coverage required (Must maintain both throughout employment)
• Must be able to drive personal or agency vehicles, including vans/minibuses
• Completion of a Physical and TB test upon hire and every two years thereafter
• Must obtain and maintain certifications in CPR/First Aid and Medication Administration
• Must sign and comply with all motor vehicle disclosure and MVR requirements

Clearances

• PA Criminal History Clearance
• If applicable: FBI Criminal History Record (required if employee hasn’t been a PA resident for the past 5 years)
