Job summary

PathWays is hiring Residential Direct Support Professionals to help adults with intellectual disabilities and Autism live independently in our community homes. You’ll provide daily living support, build routines, and offer dependable companionship.

Starting wage is $18 per hour, with higher rates up to $24/hour for NADSP-certified staff. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, paid time off after 90 days, trainings, a retirement plan, and an employee referral program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 with a valid driver’s license and keep it valid while employed.
• 1 year of direct care experience required.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• Up-to-date Criminal Background Checks; Pre-Employment Physical & TB Test.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in our Residential Homes with daily living and life-enriching experiences.
• Build routines, teach skills, and be someone they can count on.
• Assist with personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, medication administration, and medical appointments.
• Plan fun community outings, errands, and day trips.
• Help build confidence, independence, and meaningful connections.

What You’ll Be Doing As a Residential DSP

As a Residential Direct Support Professional, you’ll support individuals in our Residential Homes with daily living and life-enriching experiences. You’ll help build routines, teach skills, and most importantly — be someone they can count on.

A Few Things You’ll Help With

• Personal care: eating, grooming, bathing, dressing, etc.
• Meal prep and kitchen fun (yes, cooking together counts!)
• Light housekeeping
• Medication administration and medical appointments
• Fun community outings, errands, and day trips
• Building confidence, independence, and meaningful connections
