Job summary

Sunshine Communities in Maumee, OH seeks a Residential Program Manager to provide leadership and oversee person-centered support in a safe, respectful environment.

You will partner with individuals, families, staff and clinical teams to coordinate services, monitor plans, ensure compliance, and promote meaningful community engagement.

This role requires 3-5 years in developmental disabilities and 3+ years in supervision, plus a Bachelor's degree or higher.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher required for ICF Home Management
• GED or HS Diploma required for Waiver Home Management – 18 years or older
• 3-5 years’ experience in the field of Developmental Disabilities
• 3+ years’ experience in supervision or management
• Prior Direct Support Professional experience preferred
• Prior medical experience with mechanical ventilators preferred
• Valid Driver’s License, good driving record and auto insurance
• Able to pass criminal background, drug test and physical

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, coach, and support staff while promoting teamwork, accountability, and positive behavior support.
• Delegate responsibilities, provide regular feedback, and ensure staff complete required training and competencies.
• Work with Scheduling to ensure appropriate staff coverage for assigned homes, including providing direct support as needed.
• Maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Facilities, Scheduling, IT, Volunteer Services, and other departments to support effective program operations.
• Help individuals build meaningful community connections and experience opportunities for relationships, employment, activities, independence, and quality of life.
