Job summary

Community Options, Inc. is seeking an experienced Residential Program Manager in Rio Rancho, NM to lead a team delivering person-centered care for individuals with disabilities. You will oversee day-to-day operations, coordinate schedules, and ensure programs meet ISP/PCP plans and regulatory standards.

The role emphasizes staff development, communication with families, documentation accuracy, and safety. Bachelor's degree preferred; two years of experience; valid driver's license; starting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years’ full-time work experience in supporting people with disabilities.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
• Knowledge of state regulatory agency operations and standards for disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff schedules and ensure shifts are adequately staffed
• Manage team performance through communication, training, performance management, staff meetings, and recognition
• Develop and implement activity programs including the Meaningful Day curriculum
• Communicate with families and guardians as needed
• Ensure individuals are supported per ISP/PCP including medication management, meals, and behavior management
• Ensure program documentation and billable records are completed accurately and timely
• Monitor health and medical needs and report concerns
• Manage relationships with families and guardians
• Ensure locations and vehicles are clean, maintained, stocked with supplies
• Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned
• Cooperate with license and department staff in inspections or investigations
