Job summary

Community Options, Inc. seeks an experienced Residential Program Manager in Lincoln Park, NJ to lead a team delivering person-centered care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The role supports day-to-day operations, drives program goals, and collaborates with families and guardians to ensure high-quality services. The position requires a minimum of two years’ experience in disability services and a valid driver’s license, with background checks and regulatory

Qualifications

• Two years’ full-time work experience in supporting people with disabilities.
• Knowledge of state regulatory agency operations and standards.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Background checks including criminal, central registry, child abuse registry and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff schedules and ensure shifts are adequately staffed.
• Lead team performance via training, performance management, meetings and recognition.
• Develop and implement activity programs including the Meaningful Day curriculum.
• Communicate with families and guardians as needed.
• Support ISP/PCP including medication management, meals and behavior.
• Ensure documentation and billable records are completed accurately.
• Monitor health and medical needs and report concerns promptly.
• Maintain relationships with families and guardians.
• Ensure work locations and vehicles are clean, stocked with supplies and groceries.
• Cooperate with license and department staff during inspections.
