Job summary

Community Options, Inc. is seeking an experienced Residential Program Manager in Pittsburgh, PA to lead a team delivering person-centered care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, staff scheduling, and program activities to meet ISP/PCP goals. The role requires strong supervision, compliance with state regulations, and effective communication with families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years’ full-time work experience in supporting people with disabilities.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Knowledge of state regulatory agency operations and standards relevant to supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background checks and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff schedules and ensure shifts are adequately staffed.
• Manage team performance through communication, training, and meetings.
• Develop and implement activity programs including the Meaningful Day curriculum.
• Communicate with families and guardians as needed.
• Ensure ISP/PCP guidance, medication management, meal planning, and behavior management is followed.
• Maintain program documentation and billable records accurately.
• Monitor health and medical needs and report any concerns.
• Manage relationships with families and guardians of individuals in our care.
