Job summary

Thomas Allen is hiring a Residential Program Manager II to oversee two residential homes in the Twin Cities metro area. You will lead caregivers, ensure high-quality, person-centered services, and oversee resident well-being, activities, and community integration.

The role requires a minimum of three years’ direct care experience with people with developmental disabilities or mental health conditions, plus a Designated Coordinator qualification.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of direct care experience with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental health conditions.
• Designated Coordinator qualifications: one of the following options (BA +1 year, AA +2 years, diploma +3 years, or 50 hours training +4 years).
• Must have effective listening and strong social/communication skills.
• Must pass Department of Human Services background clearance.

Responsibilities

• Inspire a team of caregivers to deliver high-quality support.
• Create a nurturing home promoting independence and community connections.
• Design engaging activities to enrich lives and relationships.
• Ensure resident well-being through oversight, advocacy and personalized care.
• Manage resources and finances to uphold standards.
• Collaborate across teams to provide person-centered services.
• Provide financial oversight for household and residents’ finances.
• Cover direct care shifts as needed, including unscheduled shifts.
• Perform other duties to support the program and mission.
