Job summary

Merakey is seeking a Program Lead to join our team in Middletown, NY. You will act as the lead staff on shift, coordinate house schedules with the Program Manager, and provide direct care including ADL support, meal preparation, and supervision to residents.

You will manage medication administration, respond to incidents with the Program Manager and QCO, and oversee household operations such as menu planning, shopping, and cleaning to ensure safety and well‑being of clients in a residential

Qualifications

• Must have verifiable High School diploma/G.E.D.
• 1-3 total years of experience in a human services residential setting or at least 2 verifiable years recent IDD experience
• Willingness to obtain NADSP Certification within first year of hire, if required

Responsibilities

• Act as Lead staff and point person on shift.
• Prepare and manage house schedules with Program Manager.
• Direct care tasks including ADL, meal prep, and supervision requirements.
• Medication management and administration.
• Incident management with Program Manager and QCO.
• Manage household needs: menu, groceries, housekeeping.
• Oversee upkeep and cleanliness of the home and ongoing maintenance.
