Job summary

HELP Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning is seeking an experienced Plumbing Technician to diagnose issues, educate homeowners, and present repair options aligned with home budgets. You will deliver exceptional workmanship and strong customer experiences on every service call.

You will work in field environments across residential sites, carrying tools and using mobile systems for estimates, invoices, and documentation. A Journeyman license is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of residential plumbing service experience with strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Proven ability to educate homeowners and present Good, Better, Best repair and replacement options.
• Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to identify additional service opportunities while maintaining a customer-first approach.
• Knowledge of local plumbing and mechanical codes.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential plumbing systems and fixtures.
• Educate homeowners on the condition of their plumbing systems to ensure informed choices.
• Present repair and replacement options that fit the home and budget.
• Identify opportunities for system improvements and preventative maintenance.
• Complete estimates, invoices, and service documentation using mobile tech.
• Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and professional appearance.
• Participate in ongoing technical and sales training to improve skills and income potential.
• Consistently achieve individual performance, customer satisfaction, and sales goals.
