Job summary

Southern Home Services is seeking an Install Plumber to join a residential-focused team. The role centers on setting up and installing new plumbing systems in homes, with emphasis on designing layouts from blueprints and ensuring reliable water and waste management.

You will install pipes, fixtures, and water heaters, test for leaks, and adhere to local codes. Excellent customer service and teamwork are essential to success in this position.

Qualifications

• Requires Journeyman Plumber license.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair experience.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, position, and seal valves, pipe fittings, and pipes.
• Install plumbing components (faucets, toilets, sinks, showers, water heaters).
• Ensure proper connections to water supplies and sewage systems.
• Test systems for leaks and validate proper function.
• Follow local building codes and regulations.
• Troubleshoot issues during or after installation.
• Discuss solutions with customers and design layouts from blueprints.
