Southern Home Services is seeking a dynamic Install Plumber to join our team. This role focuses on setting up and installing new residential plumbing systems and ensuring proper connections and testing for leaks.

You will read blueprints, install fixtures, comply with local codes, and troubleshoot issues to maintain reliable water and waste management in homes. Strong customer service and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Plumber license required.
• Journeyman Gas Fitter preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on plumbing experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Experience with residential projects preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication.
• Ability to interact professionally at all levels.
• Flexible, collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, position, and seal valves, pipe fittings, and pipes.
• Use equipment to facilitate installation processes.
• Discuss solutions with customers for plumbing needs.
• Create plumbing layouts from blueprints and plans.
• Install faucets, toilets, sinks, showers, and water heaters.
• Ensure proper connections to water and sewage systems.
• Check for leaks and verify proper function.
• Adhere to local building codes and regulations.
• Resolve issues during/after installation for reliable systems.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
