Job summary

Southern Home Services is seeking a Service Plumber to perform a range of residential plumbing tasks, including troubleshooting, installations, and repairs. You will diagnose issues, execute repairs, and ensure adherence to high-quality standards and local codes.

Strong problem-solving and homeowner communication are essential. The role requires handling leaks, maintaining equipment, and coordinating with teams on larger projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in residential/commercial plumbing maintenance and repair.
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings and job specs.
• Experience with water, gas and sewage systems and local codes.
• Familiarity with plumbing tools and equipment like cutters, threaders, and soldering tools.
• Excellent customer communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose plumbing problems and determine repairs or replacements.
• Install, assemble and repair plumbing systems and components.
• Test for leaks and ensure safety and code compliance.
• Manage inventory and keep vehicles stocked with plumbing supplies.
• Maintain safety protocols and communicate progress with homeowners.
