Acacia Network in New York City is seeking an Operations Aide to supervise and support in a residential program, ensuring seamless and safe operations, client scheduling, and transportation to appointments.

The role requires a high school diploma, counseling experience in substance abuse/mental health (preferred), and strong communication and organizational skills. Bilingual Spanish is a plus; duties include incident reporting, rounds, and program improvements.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of related counseling experience in Substance Abuse/Mental Health preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
• Ability to organize and maintain detailed records and meet deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee operations to promote safety, security, and adherence to the program schedule.
• Engage clients in individual and group educational discussions on daily living skills.
• Coordinate and verify client movement within the facility and to appointments.
• Report incidents to management and clinical staff.
• Document facility status in logbooks.
• Monitor client conduct and behavior.
• Conduct rounds hourly to assess safety and cleanliness.
• Attend required trainings and remain on duty until relief arrives.
• Assist in program operations improvements and policy changes.
• Other duties as assigned.
