Job summary

Acacia Network in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Residential Aide to support clients in our community programs. This regular full-time role focuses on ensuring access to meals, laundry, toiletries and other essential services, with adherence to program schedules.

You will participate in meetings, supervision, and training, apply crisis intervention skills when needed, and work with colleagues and affiliates to deliver coordinated care. Requirements include HS diploma and relevant certificates.

Qualifications

  • Basic computer skills (MS Office) required.
  • Knowledge of internet and email services required.

Responsibilities

  • Attend monthly departmental meetings.
  • Scheduled supervision.
  • Meet all training standards.
  • Use crisis prevention and intervention skills when needed.
  • Ensure 100% of clients have access to services (meals, laundry, toiletries, etc.).
  • Maintain inventory of departmental supplies and report maintenance needs.
  • Stay informed of and comply with: Part 491/900 Regulations, The Callaghan Decree, All funding source requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to the program schedule (bed signing, dorm inspections, linen exchange, medication monitoring, workshops).
  • Maintain working knowledge of all technological systems used by the program and affiliates.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with all ANH-affiliated providers.
  • Knowledge of internet and email services
