Job summary

KeyBank in Carmel, IN seeks a Mortgage Loan Officer to assist clients with residential loan origination and provide analysis to meet financial goals. You will develop referrals to grow the home lending business and meet sales targets while upholding high loan quality and client satisfaction.

This role requires prospecting, processing a targeted volume of loans, and maintaining strong knowledge of mortgage products in a branch setting, 4+ days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience as a loan officer in 1st mortgage production.
• Knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prospect home lending business to develop new client loan originations.
• Originate and process a targeted number of mortgage transactions per guidelines.
• Provide clients with information about mortgage options, rates and terms.
• Gather documents and remain the primary contact through the loan process.
• Maintain high client satisfaction and loan quality while meeting goals.
• Develop knowledge of KeyBank products and competitive offerings.
• Work in a branch environment to provide in-person services 4+ days/week.
