NBT Bank is seeking a driven Mortgage Originator to grow residential mortgage and home equity applications in the Torrington, CT area. You will build a network of outside referrals and coordinate the document flow from application to closing, while advising clients on mortgage products based on their needs.

The role requires an associate degree in business or related discipline, and two years of sales or lending experience; NMLS certification is required or obtainable on hire.

Qualificações

• Associate’s degree in business or related discipline and two years’ experience in sales or equivalent.
• Two years mortgage or lending experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• NMLS Certification required or ability to obtain upon hire.

Responsabilidades

• Originate mortgage loans and develop a network of outside referral sources.
• Meet with prospects, explain mortgage products and advise based on needs.
• Coordinate documentation flow from application to closing and interact with all parties involved in the transaction.
• Sell other NBT products and services as appropriate.
• Obtain and analyze pertinent financial and credit data; prepare forms and files for underwriting and regulatory purposes.
