Hancock Whitney is seeking a loan originator to originate portfolio loans including conventional, FHA, VA and RD loans, ensuring compliance with investor requirements and state/federal laws. You will promote bank products and service to clients in the community and maintain a healthy pipeline.

You will develop referral networks, coordinate with processors, underwriters and closers, and deliver all disclosures in a timely manner while staying current with industry guidelines and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; two years of sales experience required.
• Two plus years of mortgage origination experience preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain NMLS registration under SAFE Act.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage laws and procedures.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

Responsabilités

• Provide expert mortgage advice to potential borrowers.
• Maintain a clean loan pipeline coordinating with processors, underwriters and closers.
• Deliver compliance documents and disclosures in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain referral networks with Realtors and external sources.
• Coordinate closings and inform applicants of costs.
