Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a Mortgage Loan Closer/Processor to handle processing, administration, and closing of residential loans, including 1st mortgages and HELOCs. You will verify documentation, assemble files, order appraisals and title work, and prepare wire requests for closing packages.

You will also review documents for accuracy, enter data, and maintain compliance with bank guidelines. Strong communication and confidentiality are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of mortgage experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, leadership, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Finastra MortgageBot/Avista desired.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Process and close residential mortgage loans including 1st mortgage and HELOC.
• Request appraisals and title work.
• Prepare wire requests for closing packages.
• Review loan documents for accuracy.
• Enter loan data into computer system.
• Work with builders on construction draws.
• Ensure loan files have proper signatures and data.
• Provide administrative support to residential loan staff.
• Answer inquiries by phone and email.
• Remain compliant with bank guidelines and regulatory requirements.
