Job description

Responsibilities

• Responsible for processing loans from set-up to closing by verifying, assembling, and entering borrower information into the system
• Verify income and assets documentation are complete and compliant to established guidelines
• Notate files to keep all necessary parties informed of loans current status
• Request third‑party steps as required
• Order any necessary documentation as needed
• Verify income docs, recalculate income to confirm figures are correct
• Review appraisal against title for accuracy of property description
• Review title. Work with the title officer to clear judgments/lien
• Verify real estate taxes are paid to date. Update aggregate escrows for both taxes and insurance
• Verify hazard insurance is paid in full and adequately covers the loan amount
• Work with Post Closing department to resolve any funding issues

Requirements

• Two years of experience processing purchase mortgages
• Very strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong analytical skills, detail oriented
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite to include Word and Excel
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to system updates
