Qualifications

• 2-5 years relevant experience in lending or sales.
• 3+ years mortgage sales experience required.
• Residential mortgage experience required.
• Established book of business.
• Strong product sales capability is required.
• FHA/VA & conventional loan experience preferred.
• Ability to explain financial calculations and pricing options.
• Ability to explain required documents to obtain a loan.
• Knowledge of consumer lending laws, including RESPA and privacy.

Responsibilities

• Consult with customers about financial situations and lending needs to help achieve home ownership goals.
• Collect and analyze financial data including income, assets, debts and credit history.
• Assess whether a customer/property may qualify for a lending solution.
• Make recommendations on lending solutions to meet objectives.
• Advise customers on risks and benefits of alternatives.
• Promote Citi's brand and lending services to real estate professionals and clients.
• Visit customers outside Citi offices as required to grow mortgage business.
• Collaborate with internal partners to support customers and referrals.
• Coordinate with Operations to ensure smooth loan processing and timely closings.
• Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources like realtors, CPAs, builders.
