Job summary

WestBay RI is seeking an experienced Residential Manager/Assistant Manager to lead our Rhode Island residential teams. You will set team culture, ensure high-quality care, and promote independence and community connections for individuals with I/DD.

You will hire, train, and support direct support staff, manage daily life to reflect each resident’s goals, and collaborate with clinical teams to address behavioral health needs.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of leadership experience in residential services for I/DD.
• 2–3 years of experience as Direct Support Professional.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Computer literacy for documentation and communication required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staffing, household and vehicle maintenance, and budgets.
• Keep documentation accurate and organized.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to support behavioral health needs.
• Maintain open communication with families, guardians, and interdisciplinary partners.
