Job summary

AION Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative tasks across residential units and common areas. You will respond to service requests, support PM programs, and ensure life-safety and building-code compliance while delivering courteous, professional service to residents and staff.

This role requires basic trades knowledge, the ability to work independently, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of maintenance or facilities experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine maintenance and repair work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform work order repairs involving plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances, and building systems.
• Assist with unit turns, including inspections, repairs, and readiness for occupancy.
• Respond to emergency maintenance issues and participate in on-call rotations as required.
• Assist with scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) inspections and services.
• Identify and report maintenance issues, safety concerns, and potential system failures.
• Accurately document completed work and inspection findings in the maintenance management system.
• Complete assigned PM tasks in accordance with established schedules and procedures.
• Follow safety policies, procedures, and use required PPE; maintain life-safety compliance.
