Job summary

AION Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative tasks for residential units and common areas. You will support safe, efficient property operations by responding to service requests and assisting with PM programs to ensure life-safety compliance.

The role requires a High school diploma or equivalent and 1–3 years of maintenance experience, with basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of maintenance or facilities experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine maintenance and repair work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform work order repairs involving plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances, and building systems.
• Assist with unit turns, including inspections, repairs, and readiness for occupancy.
• Respond to emergency maintenance issues and participate in on-call rotations as required.
• Assist with scheduled preventative maintenance inspections and services.
• Identify and report maintenance issues, safety concerns, and potential system failures.
• Accurately document completed work and inspection findings in the maintenance management system.
• Complete assigned PM tasks in accordance with established schedules and procedures.
• Follow all safety policies and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Assist in maintaining compliance with life-safety standards, building codes, and company policies.
• Verify proper operation of safety systems and report hazards.
• Work collaboratively with other maintenance team members and property staff.
• Maintain organized tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Provide courteous and professional service to residents and staff.
• Support Service Manager, Assistant Service Manager, and senior technicians as assigned.
