Job summary

University Partners in Bloomington, IN, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support daily maintenance operations across our student housing communities. The role includes handling service requests, unit turns, inspections, and grounds upkeep, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor or an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor as needed.

Daily duties include reviewing work orders with the supervisor, completing tasks within policy, and ensuring safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months of related maintenance experience or training preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have own basic maintenance tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to residents, guests, employees, and contractors; complete routine service requests within 24 hours.
• Maintain the overall cleanliness and condition of the community.
• Support unit turns, make-ready preparation, and move-in readiness; maintain the maintenance shop per policy.
