Job summary

KETTLER is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support maintenance operations across apartments and buildings. Under the Maintenance Manager, you will handle general maintenance, respond to service requests, and assist with repairs to keep units and common areas in top condition.

You will perform preventive maintenance, prepare vacant units for turnover, and collaborate with supervisors and contractors as needed. Valid driver’s license and near-property residence preferred for on-site responses.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential maintenance and service requests.
• Ability to troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle multiple residential service requests daily.
• Respond to resident maintenance requests in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair; escalate as needed.
• Participate in maintenance projects.
• Prepare vacant units for market-ready status.
• Perform preventive maintenance across property systems.
• Repair property grounds, apartments, and building exteriors.
• Provide excellent resident service and respond promptly to inquiries.
• Other duties as assigned.
