Job summary

KETTLER is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repairs in apartments and buildings, and to respond promptly to resident service requests under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager.

You will troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues, complete work orders to quality and time standards, and participate in preventive maintenance and turnover repairs for market-ready units.

Qualifications

• EPA/CFC Type I & II certifications preferred; must obtain within 90 days.
• At least 1 year of apartment/hotel/facilities maintenance experience.
• Valid Driver’s License; live within 30 minutes of the property.
• Excellent customer service and timely responses to residents.
• On-call maintenance rota including nights/weekends.
• Personal transportation and cell phone required for on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Handle multiple residential service requests daily.
• Respond to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues by troubleshooting and repairing.
• Participate in all maintenance projects.
• Prepare vacant units for market-ready status.
• Perform preventive maintenance on property systems.
• Repair general grounds, apartments, and building exteriors.
• Provide courteous customer service and efficient, accurate work orders.
• Other duties as assigned.
