Job summary

KETTLER currently seeks a Maintenance Technician for Hawkins Press in Charlotte, NC. You will perform general maintenance, handle resident service requests, and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances under the supervisor's guidance.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, preparing market-ready vacant units, and assisting with property projects while delivering courteous, timely service. On-call duties, valid driver's license, and physical ability required.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC, appliances, electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Strong customer service and communication.
• Must be able to respond to on-call emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Handle multiple residential service requests daily.
• Respond to maintenance requests for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances.
• Escalate problems to supervisor or outside contractors as needed.
• Participate in maintenance projects.
• Prepare vacant units for market-ready status.
• Preventive maintenance on all systems.
• Repair property grounds, apartments, and exteriors.
• Provide respectful, timely service and complete work orders efficiently.
