Job summary

MRK Property Management LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle repairs, troubleshoot problems, and perform preventative maintenance across assigned properties in Baltimore, MD. You will focus on maintaining grounds and buildings while efficiently completing work orders.

The role includes on-call duties on weekends, evenings, and holidays, along with responsibilities such as cleaning, snow removal, and apartment turnover to move-in condition for new residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years of maintenance or construction experience.
• One year of experience as a full-charge residential maintenance technician preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations preferred.
• EPA certification preferred.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Must be able to work a flex schedule and be on-call for emergencies on weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Reading/speaking English required.
• Proficiency in plumbing, electric and machinery repair.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs, troubleshoots mechanical systems, and completes preventative maintenance. Conducts maintenance-related inspections including building and alarm systems.
• Restores vacated apartments to move-in condition for new residents.
• Removes snow, ice and leaves from sidewalks, walkways, steps and driveways/parking spaces.
• Completes janitorial requirements per schedule.
• Responds to on-call emergencies on weekends, evenings, and holidays—resolving issues.
• Patrols property daily to identify cleaning needs and removes trash/debris from grounds and common areas.
