KETTLER currently has an opening for a Maintenance Technician at West Park Apartments, located in Albuquerque, NM. If you have a good work ethic, a passion for helping people, and want an opportunity to learn and grow, KETTLER is the place for you.

The Maintenance Technician, under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, is responsible for general maintenance, repairs in apartments and buildings, and responding to service requests of residents.

Qualifications

• 1 year of apartment, hotel, or facilities maintenance experience.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair knowledge.
• Valid Driver’s License and must live within 30 minutes of the property.
• Outstanding customer service and timely responses.
• Must be responsible for taking calls for after hour’s emergency maintenance; nights and weekends rotating.
• Must have personal transportation for on-call emergencies.
• Must carry a cell phone for on-call maintenance.
• Ability to use a computer.
• Good English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Able to walk grounds, ascend stairs, lift 60 lbs., climb ladders over 10 feet.

Responsibilities

• Handle multiple residential service requests daily.
• Respond to maintenance and service requests in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair; troubleshoot and repair or escalate as needed.
• Participate in all maintenance projects.
• Prepare vacant units for market-ready status through turnover repairs and improvements.
• Perform preventive maintenance on systems at the property.
• General repair of property grounds, apartments, and building exteriors.
• Provide strong customer service by treating residents with respect and addressing concerns promptly.
• Complete work orders with efficiency and urgency.
• Other duties as assigned.
