Job summary

The Yarco Companies in the Tampa area seeks a Maintenance Technician to support the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager in repairs, preventive maintenance, and upkeep of residential properties focused on affordable housing.

Responsibilities include appliance maintenance, basic electrical/plumbing, make-ready units, laundry room and pool upkeep where applicable, and on-call safety support.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Pool certification preferred; HVAC certification may be required.
• Experience: One year maintenance experience in residential property.

Responsibilities

• Assist Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager in repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain residential units, public spaces, grounds and equipment.
• Make ready units to market standards; some painting may be required.
• Maintain laundry rooms and perform pool maintenance if applicable.
• Provide on-call safety support and respond to emergencies as needed.
